| "My name is Claudiu... I'm 15 years old. I was born on January 26th, 1988 and I live in an orphanage. I was born in a family and this family couldn't raise me because they lacked the financial means. My mother abandoned me right after she gave birth to me. My parents took me to the orphanage. I was there only for three years then I was transferred to another orphanage. Later, I was lucky to see my mother but when I saw my mother she was a stranger to me.
I joined this Art Oasis project in January and I'm happy be part of this project because to me it means that I have a way to become what I want to be.
When I paint I'm encouraged by the ones around me and especially by the teachers and Miss Camelia. I also greatly admire Kay Phillips who started this project.
I am happy that Miss Camelia shows me kindness and attention. I can see a difference between her and the mean people that I spend every day with.
I am a member of Art Oasis because I am passionate about art.
Besides painting and drawing I have other hobbies. I like the internet and riding a bike. I want to be a modest person." |
